Register for a new  about HPB cancers on Monday, July 27, at 7 PM ET/6 PM CT/4 PM PT. In this virtual tumor board, the participants will learn through a case-based discussion about:

  • multimodality treatment options regarding surgical decision making in both resectable and borderline resectable disease
  • current data from major clinical trials involving multimodality neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapy for resectable and borderline resectable disease
  • current definitions of resectable and borderline resectable pancreas cancer including technical, vascular and medical resectability

The case scenarios to be discussed will include:

  • The role of medical co-morbidities in defining resectable disease and prehabilitation strategies
  • The approach to resectable disease (upfront surgery vs neoadjuvant, chemotherapy/radiation, and how long)
  • The approach to borderline resectable disease (neoadjuvant strategies, chemotherapy/radiation, what agents/types, length)
