EGSSO Performs a Wide Range of Activities:
Organising the largest annual congress in Surgical Oncology in Egypt and the middle East with variable pre-congress international workshops
Providing continuous professional development and training to both young and experienced surgeons through regular networking and workshops at different central & outreach cancer centres.
Provision of a publication platform through the scientific Journal of Egyptian National Cancer – JencI) as the EGSSO’s official Journal.
Partnering in activities and courses with other disciplines and organ-based societies within the ECS-the Egyptian Caner Society
Contributing to the development of the Surgical Oncology programme of the National Cancer Institute –Cairo University and the Surgical Oncology Fellowship-Egyptian Ministry of Health-MOH.
Providing an internal fellowship programme for young Surgeons with other partner societies for exchange of knowledge and continous medical education
Offering opportunities for trainees and cancer surgeons from countries with limited resources to attend the EGSSO Annual Congress.
Circulation of educational and scientific opportunities via its newsletter and official website
